EVENT INFORMATION

Created to provide girls and women the opportunity to try the sport, for free. This is a great opportunity for families or players that are thinking about hockey and want to experience what it is like. This is a fun event and open to both children and adults – we will be grouping according to age/skill level on the ice.

HOW IT WORKS & WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Register online as an individual.

  • For all girls and women of all ages (5 years and older)/all levels.

  • When you register you let us know your ability level and position.

  • Players will be placed in groups according to skill level.

  • You don’t have to be a new player to participate.

  • Space is limited: Open to the first 30 players.

  • Helmets and Skates available. Full equipment is encouraged by not mandatory.

We understand that it can be intimidating or overwhelming when just starting out and having to commit full time to your hockey association – without really knowing what the sport is all about. So this is your chance! Register ASAP to guarantee your spot now.

Not only that but we have an amazing squad of female role models that will be leading you as guest coaches, on the ice including Dom DiRocco – UBC Thunderbird’s Assistant Coach! We are very fortunate to have wonderful role models supporting this cause.

This event will be held at Meadow Park Sports Centre located at  8625 BC-99, Whistler, BC, V0N 1B8. This arena features an NHL-sized ice surface
