Sue, a Kamloops, BC native, later settled in Calgary with her husband, where they raised their daughter, an accomplished hockey player.
While Sue herself has never played hockey and admits her skating skills leave much to be desired, her passion for supporting the sport grew as her daughter progressed from minor hockey to competing at the university level. Recognizing the value of community engagement, Sue sought new opportunities to dedicate her volunteer efforts.
Professionally, Sue brings extensive experience working with several non-profit organizations. She is thrilled to be working with Grindstone, where she is committed to empowering and supporting girls in sports.
