Paula Busch

Treasurer

Paula grew up in Burnaby, BC and was involved in sports all through her school years, playing t-ball when she was young and then volleyball and gymnastics throughout high school.

She attended Douglas College and was a graduate of the inaugural Coaching Diploma program and then carried on to the University of British Columbia where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics. She now resides in the Okanagan, where she works in a law firm, specializing in Estates as well as being the firm’s bookkeeper.

Paula is passionate about volunteering and she has always enjoyed the game of hockey, growing up watching Hockey Night in Canada every Saturday night with her dad. She came across The Grindstone Award Foundation through her daughter’s involvement in hockey and was thrilled at the opportunity to join their team to be able to continue her passion for volunteer work and to combine that with her love of hockey and the opportunity to promote the game for female athletes.
