NATASHA SABELLI, CPAFinance Professional | Entrepreneur | Educator
Natasha Sabelli, CPA, is a finance professional, entrepreneur, educator, and lifelong hockey player based in Montreal. She currently works as a Finance Evangelist at Velixo, where she focuses on helping finance professionals modernize the way they work through technology, Excel, and AI. She is also the founder of NatSab Consulting, where she works with businesses, content creators, and athletes on tax, accounting, and financial advisory matters.
Natasha earned her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Concordia University and later completed Concordia’s Graduate Diploma in Chartered Professional Accountancy before earning her CPA designation. Education has remained an important part of her career. Through NatSab Tutoring and her experience teaching accounting at the university level, she has worked with more than 1,000 accounting and finance students, helping make complex concepts more approachable, practical, and engaging.
Hockey has been part of Natasha’s life from a young age. She grew up playing competitive hockey, including with the John Abbott Islanders, and continues to be closely connected to the sport. Her experience as a female athlete shaped her appreciation for the confidence, community, leadership, and opportunities that sport can create for girls and young women.
That connection is what drew Natasha to the Grindstone Award Foundation. She is passionate about helping remove financial barriers that can prevent girls from participating in hockey and creating opportunities for more young women to experience the confidence, friendships, and sense of belonging that sport can provide.
Outside of work, Natasha remains an avid athlete and sports fan and can usually be found playing hockey, training, hiking, or finding some other reason to turn something into a competition.
